Accessing the Dishwasher Valve
Bosch, Thermador, and Gaggenau brands frequently share the same Bosch water inlet valve for their dishwashers. This valve, a genuine original equipment manufacturer (OEM) component, is essential for managing the water flow into the dishwasher during both washing and rinsing phases. Typically located at the back or lower side of the appliance, it connects directly to the water supply line. Its primary function is to regulate water intake by opening and closing as needed to ensure optimal cleaning performance.
This particular valve is not exclusive to Bosch; it seamlessly integrates with dishwashers from Thermador and Gaggenau as well.
The valve addresses a range of common issues, such as:
- Insufficient or delayed water filling
- Leaks or drips
- Unusual noises when water enters the appliance
