To proceed with the replacement, ensure the microwave is safely disconnected from the electrical outlet. Start by removing the appliance's top cover. Following this, detach the right-side support by unscrewing the two fastening screws.
Once the support is removed, disconnect the two wires attached to the microswitch. Install the new support and correctly position the microswitch, identifiable by its red button. Reattach the electrical wires and fix the new support securely.
For replacing the left-side support, replicate the previous steps. It is crucial to note that this side contains two microswitches: one with a green button and a counterpart resembling the right-side microswitch.
