The refrigerator/icemaker spacer assembly incorporates an emitter and is designed to be compatible with a wide range of brands, including Whirlpool, Amana, KitchenAid, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Magic Chef, Roper, and Admiral. Whirlpool also produces components for Sears-Kenmore and Ikea. The WPW10190964 ice maker model comprises both the ice mold and the control mechanism. It operates by receiving water from the inlet valve, which is retained in the ice mold until it freezes. Upon freezing, the machine dispenses the ice automatically and fills the mold with water again, continuing this process until the storage bin is full.
