The Tub-to-Pump Hose serves as a genuine OEM replacement component for LG top-load washers. Designed to channel water from the wash tub to the drain pump, it features bellows that ensure flexibility throughout both the wash and spin cycles. Measuring 13 inches in length, this hose offers a cleanout feature to facilitate debris removal.
While primarily intended for LG models, this hose is also compatible with select Sears-Kenmore machines. With time, regular bending and water pressure can contribute to the hose’s wear and tear. Additionally, PVC material in the hose may degrade more rapidly when exposed to hard water conditions.
Should the hose malfunction, several issues could arise: the washing machine might experience slow or ineffective drainage, water may collect within the machine's cabinet, or users could encounter error codes indicating drainage concerns. Furthermore, water leaks might surface near or beneath the back of the washer.
