A malfunctioning switch can inhibit the microwave from starting or cause it to operate with the door ajar.
Included in the kit are two switches rated at 15 Amps and 125/250 Volts, equipped with 3/16 inch terminals. To ensure safety when replacing this part, unplug the microwave to prevent potential electrical risks, keeping in mind that high-voltage capacitors may still retain a charge even when the appliance is disconnected. The kit comprises two single pole, double throw (SPDT) micro switches. Should a secondary interlock switch be necessary, the appropriate part to order is 56001100.
