Washing Machine Control Board Assembly
This original equipment manufacturer (OEM) replacement component serves as the control board for specific LG and Sears-Kenmore washing machines. It operates as the central processor, orchestrating the primary functions of the washing machine. Should the washer experience problems such as not rinsing, draining, spinning, or turning on, a control board replacement could be required.
To replace the control board, start by disconnecting the washing machine from the power source and moving it forward to gain access to the rear section. Detach the upper back panel to reveal the control board. Taking photos of the current wire connections with a smartphone can offer useful guidance. Proceed to unplug the wire harness and gently detach the wires from the existing control board. Connect these wires to their respective terminals on the new board. Once connected, secure the new board in its location, reattach the upper back panel, and reposition the washer to its original place.
Installing this replacement part restores the washing machine's functionality with an up-to-date control unit.
