This motor control board serves washing machines, including those produced by Frigidaire, Electrolux, Crosley, and Kenmore. Accompanying the board are tape, a bracket, and a mounting screw. Typically positioned near the drive motor at the base of the appliance, it governs the drive motor's speed and directs the tumble and spin functions throughout the wash cycle.
Should the washing machine pump water but not initiate spinning, the motor control board may be defective and require replacement. To perform the replacement, ensure the appliance is unplugged or the circuit breaker is switched off. Position the machine away from the wall, detach the front control knobs and back screws, and then lift the control panel to access the motor control board.
