Bosch, along with its subsidiaries Thermador and Gaggenau, provides a variety of products, including this OEM circulation pump motor tailored for dishwashers. This component plays a crucial role in directing water flow to the spray arm, thereby ensuring optimal dishwasher performance. With continuous usage, the motor may experience wear and potentially require replacement. Fortunately, the replacement process for this pump motor is relatively straightforward.
Begin the repair by switching off both the power and water supply. Proceed to remove the screws that hold the lower access panel in place, followed by detaching the water supply line from the inlet valve. Subsequently, take out the mounting screws from the junction box cover, making sure to note the configuration of the wires. Detach the screws securing the bracket and disconnect the drain hose attached to the sink or garbage disposal unit.
By opening the dishwasher door, you can remove the mounting screws. Gently slide the dishwasher out from the cabinet, unclip the covers from the hinge ropes, and disconnect these ropes. Then, unscrew the fasteners holding the upper door panel. Carefully tilt the dishwasher backwards, detach the fill hose from its retaining clip, and separate it from the sump. Remove the existing circulation pump, align the replacement pump with the seal and sump, and secure it with the clamp. Transfer the wires from the old motor to the new one, then reassemble the panels.
This replacement component is available for individual purchase and fits Bosch, Gaggenau, and Thermador dishwasher models.
